Paul has studied and qualified in Landscape Architecture at (University of Gloucestershire), Fine Art ( Southampton Solent University) and Urban Design (Oxford Brookes University) and is an elected fellow of the Landscape Institute. He been working as an artist and landscape architect in Hampshire for thirty years, designing and creating a number of national award-winning public realm projects and initiatives which have included high profile public art works. These have been created in collaboration with a range of leading artists and also to his own designs. Public arts have always been at the core of his practice and was the subject of his post graduate thesis studies in Urban Design.
In recent years Paul has combined his work as a Landscape Architect and Urban designer with his passion for painting with paintings selected for exhibition at the ‘New Forest Open Art’ exhibitions, summer exhibitions at the Rum’s eg Gallery in Romsey and the ‘Four Seasons exhibition’ at The Southampton City Art Gallery. He now has paintings in collections across the United Kingdom, America, the Caribbean, Switzerland and Australia. His evolving solo exhibition ‘Landscape Reflections‘ has been staged at a number of Galleries and venues across Hampshire over the past five years, including at the Hampshire Cultural Trust’s Allen Gallery in Alton in April 2017.
